The Hindu guidance sessions
For the students who have just cleared their EAMCET and are at the threshold of engineering and medical admissions, The Hindu is organising guidance sessions where subject experts would provide an insight into the courses available and careers they would throw up. Students' doubts would be cleared on various issues like choosing a course and higher educational opportunities and career prospects in the related fields.
The guidance sessions would be held at Tirupati (June 9), Vijayawada (June 11), Vishakapatnam (June 15) and Hyderabad (June 19). Two different sessions would be held for engineering (10 a.m. 1 p.m) and medicine (2 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
Entry by registration only and the registration fee of Rs. 50 can be paid in The Hindu offices. Registered candidates would be given a book, worth Rs. 100, containing articles written by experts on the courses and future prospects. Candidates can also register through email on venkateswaraprasadbs@yahoo.com (Tirupati), and hydcirc@thehindu.co.in (Hyderabad).
Details can be had on 0877-2255553 (Tirupati), 0866-2552044 (Vijayawada), 0891-2536159 (Vishakapatnam) and 040-23403902 (Hyderabad).
