CUDDAPAH: The Congress Government was executing irrigation projects on priority basis to bail out farmers, who were steeped in problems due to the anti-farmer policies adopted during the TDP rule, Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, son of the Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, asserted on Monday. Mr. Reddy inspected the ongoing Telugu Ganga project works near Challabasaipalle in Duvvur mandal. The project would be completed by 2007-end and irrigation and drinking water facilities augmented in the area, he said. The Government was paying special attention to augment drinking water supply and construct pucca houses for the homeless, Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy said.
