CET pre-counselling session on Friday

MANGALORE: A pre-counselling session for admission to professional courses has been organised by The Hindu on Friday at the Town Hall here. A similar programme held last year saw students attending it in large numbers. Students who have passed the Common Entrance Test (CET) may take part in the event.

A panel of professionals and academicians comprising the former Vice-Chancellor of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education and international examiner for medicine, B.M. Hegde (medical courses); the Registrar of the National Institute of Technology, Aloysius Sequiera (technology); and the Professor Emeritus, National Institute of Technology, and an expert on biotechnology, M.N. Madhyastha, will take part in the event.

The session will start at 10 a.m. and the panellists will interact with the students.

They will answer questions from students and their parents.

The session will end by 1 p.m. Entry is free for all students and their parents.

The session has been sponsored by the State Bank of India, Karnataka Bank and the New Mangalore Port Trust.
