GUNTUR: A youth was killed and his friend seriously injured when the car in which they were travelling hit the divider and overturned at Peddakakani, on the outskirts of Guntur, on Monday. A computer science graduate from Chennai, Karpurapu Jaivishwam, died at the hospital here while Rakesh, his friend, was being treated for serious injuries. The Peddakakani Sub-Inspector of Police, K. Ravi Kumar, ascribed the accident to over-speeding of vehicle.
