THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Stamp Vendors Association has urged the Government to abandon the move to fix an age limit of 70 years for stamp vendors. In a memorandum submitted to the Finance Minister, Vakkom Purushothaman, here on Tuesday, the Association called for allowing the serving document writers to retain their vendor licence. It also wanted the Government to allow the vendors who could not continue the work due to ill health to transfer the licence to their legal heirs. The Association's other demands included raising the sale limit to Rs.50,000 and increasing the discount to 10 per cent.
