THANJAVUR: The Collector, M.Veera Shanmugha Moni, has appealed to heads of various schools in the district to strive to achieve cent per cent admission.Giving suggestions to them on how to distribute free textbooks to Plus One and Plus Two students, the Collector said that all children who had completed five years of age should be enrolled in schools. There is no need for money to spread education. If teachers had to the will to spread education, it can be done, he felt. If teachers evinced interest students in Government schools could score good marks. Examination marks would be monitored and a list would be prepared to figure out meritorious students. Ramaraj, Chief Education Officer, P. Rajashekar and Swaminathan, both District Education Officers, participated in the meeting.
