THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: : The BJP State president, P. S. Sreedharan Pillai, has demanded that the Government should order a judicial probe into the conduct of Vigilance cases involving political leaders registered during the past 10 years and also publish a white paper on the status of such cases. Mr. Pillai told reporters here on Tuesday that since the right to information bill had been passed by Parliament, the public had the right to know about the status of such cases. He alleged that the CPI(M) leaders and the Congress president, Sonia Gandhi, had entered into a pact in Delhi, and the LDF and the UDF were helping each other to save their leaders involved in corruption cases being probed by the Vigilance. The United Progressive Alliance was being used to protect leaders of the rival fronts, suppress the evidence and also to sabotage the probe.
