MALAPPURAM: The Communist Party of India (CPI) has said that the four years of governance by the UDF has pulled the State considerably backwards. The UDF Government has undone 44 years of the achievements made by the State, said C.N. Chandran, CPI State secretariat member. The economy and law and order collapsed particularly under the UDF regime, said Mr. Chandran. He was inaugurating a dharna staged by the CPI at Ponnani as part of the party's State-wide agitation against the Government.
