WARANGAL: The CPI (Maoist) party is embarking upon plans to create a common area connecting the areas being operated by its various committees, if the resolutions of a high-level committee are any indication. The party contemplates to build a corridor connecting North Telangana Special Zonal Committee (NTSZC) to Andhra Orissa Border Special Zonal Committee (AOBSZC) passing through the areas being held by Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZC). In other words, the party is trying to gain control over the area from Orissa to Maharasthra. According to sources, these were some of the decisions taken by the high-level committee, which met in February in Chattisgarh forests. The party is trying to ensure coordination between the Warangal and Khammam division committee of NTSZC, South Bastar division committee of DKSZC and East division committee of AOBSZC. If the Maoist party succeeds in creating the said corridor, Khammam and West Godavari districts will turn into a hotbed of naxal activities.
