Bidar
BIDAR: The bagasse-based co-generation plant of the Naranja Sahakari Sakkare Karakhane was inaugurated on Monday. It has started supplying power to the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation at Rs 2.80 a unit. This will increase the revenue of the factory by 78 lakhs a month. The 8 MW capacity cogen unit is now producing only 3.5 mega watt (3500 units per hour).
