JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Government has decided to launch an ambitious "Bal Rasoi" (children's kitchen) project for widening the scope of supplementary nutrition provided to women and children at the Anganwadi centres by supplying both the material and cash components in accordance with the norms of the mid-day meals scheme for children in the Government schools. Non-Government and voluntary organisations will extend cooperation in the project's implementation, while the institutions getting the aid will fulfil the requirements by their own resources after the State Government provides its share to them. The women's self-help groups will also render help by preparing meals at the local level.
