CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government will introduce six new job-oriented courses in the Government Colleges to increase employment avenues for the educated youth, according to the Haryana Education Minister, Phool Chand Mullana. He said here on Tuesday that these courses include Functional English, Mass Communication and Video production, Fashion Designing, Food Processing and Preservation, Tourism and Travel Management and Bio-Tech.Courses like Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor in Information Management would also be started in seven selected Government colleges of the State. Bachelor of Tourism Management would also be started in the Government College, Ambala Cantt.
Patwaris suspended
The Haryana Revenue Minister, Ajay Singh Yadav, suspended three Patwaris of Gurgaon district during a surprise raid on Monday for not being present in the circle office from 10 a.m. to 12 noon as per the rules. He asserted that these surprise raids would continue to ensure punctuality and presence of the revenue officials in the offices.
