TIRUMALA: The Union Minister for Rural Development, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, his deputy in the Ministry, Ale Narendra, and the AP Minister for Rural Development, D.Srinivas, together had darshan of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala tonight.

The three who were here for a number of government programmes reached the hill temple on the last leg and prayed before the deity.

They were given a traditional welcome by the TTD officials and the pundits and taken into the shrine for the worship. They were later given the prasadams of the Lord amid chanting of verses from the scriptures.

The Ministers also earlier in the day offered prayers to Lord Siva in Srikalahasti, 40 km from here and blended their work with devotion.
