Indian Airlines announces promotional fare

CHENNAI: Indian Airlines has announced a promotional fare of Rs.10,745 for a visit to Bangkok or Singapore or Kuala Lumpur. The fare is valid from June 1 to 30.

According to an IA spokesperson, a passenger can fly from Tamil Nadu to Singapore via Chennai by IA, travel to Kuala Lumpur by surface transportation (spending approximately Rs.900 at his own cost) and return from Kuala Lumpur to Chennai by IA for the fare of Rs.10,745.

Similarly, passengers can fly out of Chennai to Bangkok by IA flight, take a local airline from Bangkok to Singapore or Kuala Lumpur (paying approximately Rs.4,500 at his own cost) and fly out of Singapore or Kuala Lumpr to Chennai for the same fare of Rs.10,745. The special fare to fly to Singapore from Chennai is valid only on the afternoon flight departing from Chennai at 1-25 p.m.
