CHENNAI: A seven-CD infotainment series for children has been launched recently. The CDs include fruits and vegetable rhymes, mazhalayar paadam (lessons for children in Tamil), animated stories on Lord Krishna, Ganesha and Lord Shiva, fairy tales and Indian folk tales in English and Tamil. The Chennai-based Dove Multimedia has launched the CDs. The company launched CDs on Panchatantra, Tenali Raman, Alpha Numa activities and puzzle mania last year. All seven CDs released this season can be played in PC, CD ROM/VCD/DVD formats, says a release. The fruits and vegetable CD have 40 animated rhymes in English. Forty varieties of fruits and vegetables put together in colourful graphics with rhymes and text.
