Police put on alert

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: : The State police have been put on full alert following reports that key Government installations would be targeted by fundamental groups.

The red alert was sounded on the basis of a directive issued by the Director General of Police, Raman Srivastava, here late on Tuesday. The police have intensified checking of vehicles entering the city. .
