KOCHI: K.V. Thomas, MLA, has released money from his MLA fund for various projects in the city, including the tarring of a road from Palarivattom Samskara Junction to Kathrikadavu Road. The Public Works Department will complete the road work at a cost of Rs. 30 lakhs. The other projects for which funds have been released are: Rs. 35 lakhs for Mother Thresia community hall at Udaya Colony; Rs. 10 lakhs for beautification of Durbar Hall; Rs. 2 lakhs for a musical walkway; Rs. 70 lakhs for Ernakulam General Hospital; Rs. 50 lakhs for beautifying Subhash Chandra Bose Park and Rs. 53 lakhs for the coastal road.
