NEDUMBASSERY: Air India Express (AIE) will operate special services in the Kochi-Mumbai-Kochi sector for three days in June. The services are scheduled for June 4, 7 and 11. The fare has been fixed at Rs. 2,350, which is far less than the prevailing rate. The AIE, the no-frills subsidiary of Air India operating gulf sector services, is offering these special services to supplement the increased passenger traffic between Kochi and Mumbai on account of holiday season, K. M. Kurian, Air India's commercial wing manager for Kerala, has said. The flight, IX 400, will depart from the Nedumbassery airport at 8.30 a.m. and is scheduled to arrive at Mumbai at 10.15 a.m. The flight, IX 200, from Mumbai will depart at 11 a.m. and arrive here at 12.45 p.m.
