BANGALORE: Four robbers entered two shops, threatened the shop owners and took away Rs. 9,000 in cash and two mobile phones in Ashok Nagar police station limits on Monday night.
Two die in accidents
Two persons riding a motorcycle were killed when a lorry hit them near NTTF Cross in Peenya police station limits on Tuesday night. Their names were given as Srinivas (31) and Lakshman Rao (41).
Youth murdered
Ganesh (20) was murdered in K.V. Temple Street on Tuesday, according to the K.P. Agrahara police.
Chain snatched
Two persons on a motorcycle snatched a gold chain worth Rs. 30,000 from a woman in Vijayanagar police station limits on Tuesday morning.
Dies of stab wounds
An elderly man died of stab wounds in Banasawadi police station limits on Monday evening. According to the police, Velu Murugan (67) was found in a pool of blood near his house in Janaki Ram Layout.
