Low power devices de-licensed

NEW DELHI: The Union Ministry of Communications and Information Technology on Thursday decided to de-license the use of low power devices (one milliwatt) on selected frequencies and grant radio amateur licenses for 20 years or lifetime from the present criteria of five years.
