Letters to the Editor
The `revelation' by Gohar Ayub Khan, son of Ayub Khan, that an Indian brigadier sold a secret war plan to Pakistan for Rs. 20,000 in 1965 is concocted. In the process, he is letting down his father and the Pakistan Army by suggesting that the Indian Army gave them a bloody nose despite their being in possession of its operation plan. It appears that Gohar is trying to cook up a story on the 1965 war to glorify something that is a blot on the officer corps of the Pakistan Army.
Colonel (retd.) Ram Gulrajani,
Instead of sweeping the allegations under the carpet, a thorough probe should be conducted and the guilty punished if the claims are true.
