BANGALORE: The Hindu EducationPlus is organising "Pre-counselling guidance programmes" for students seeking admission to professional courses in the State. The programmes will be held in Mangalore on June 3, in Bangalore on June 6, and in Hubli on June 8. The programmes will provide students with an opportunity to interact with a committee of experts in education and clear doubts about professional courses. In Bangalore, the Special Officer of the CET Cell, M.N. Nayak, will also provide information on the admission process for CET rank-holders. The other speakers in Bangalore include the Vice-Chancellor of the Visvesvaraya Technological University, K. Balaveera Reddy; the Director of the PES Group of Institutions, Jawahar; and the COMED-K representative, S. Kumar; the Vice-President (Human Resources) of Infosys, Hema Ravichandar; and the Executive Director of Oxford Group of institutions, Ramesh Raju. The programme will be held at the Chowdaiah Memorial Hall in Bangalore from 10 a.m. Those interested in participating in it may register online, epkar@thehindu.co.in.
