Move to hike petrol prices flayed

HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam Party has lashed out at the move of the UPA Government to increase the prices of petrol and diesel, saying it was tantamount to deceiving the people and urged it not to take any hasty decision.

Addressing a press conference, senior TDP leaders K.Yerran Naidu and K.Ram Mohan Rao said the UPA before coming to power had promised not to hike the petrol prices but had acted to the contrary.
