Festivities on the other side

Special Correspondent

KAMAN POST (LOC): It was a complete contrast to the fanfare witnessed during the launch of the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad bus service on April 7. On this side of the Line of Control, there were no bouquets, no gifts and no political bigwigs sending off the delegation of nine separatist leaders. But on the other side of the LoC, festivities were on. Doves were released as the Hurriyat leaders crossed the Aman Setu.

The hundreds of people lined up to welcome the visitors included almost the whole Cabinet of PoK. Leaders of the Hurriyat Conference based in Islamabad and PoK were also there.
