BANGALORE: The Upparpet police have arrested three brothers on charges of vehicle theft and recovered from them eight two-wheelers. The names of the arrested have been given as Sameer (31), Shabbir Pasha (27) and Tanveer Pasha (18), all residents of Kalyan Nagar in Banaswadi. Police said the accused stole the vehicles from Kalasipalya, J.P. Nagar, Fraser Town, Vijayanagar, Banashankari and Kadugondanahalli police station limits.
Gorkhas arrested
The Malleswaram police on Wednesday arrested two Nepali Gorkhas on charges of burglary and recovered from them gold ornaments worth Rs. 3 lakhs. The police said Meen Bhahdur (24) and Ganesh Bhahdur (27) had broken into the house of Gopalakrishna Rao on Margosa Road on April 26 and stolen the gold ornaments.
