HYDERABAD: Without the help of a local person, could the two pastors -- K. Daniel and K. Issac Raju -- be kidnapped and done to death? Perhaps no. Even as the police are far from achieving a breakthrough in both cases, they believe that without the help of a local person, it would be impossible for anyone to commit the crime. Following the hunch, the police are now studying the minute details of the people residing at Asifnagar and Rayadurgam areas. At Asifnagar, the police are examining whether any member of the banned outfit, Deendar Anjuman, could be involved. Meanwhile, the Asifnagar ACP, V. Mahendar Reddy, on Friday morning received an anonymous telephone call on his mobile. The caller told him that two persons from the outfit `Hindu Vahini' "are involved in the incident." The call was traced to a telephone booth at Vijayanagar Colony. The caller spoke in Telugu. The police dismissed it as a mischief call. Special teams are camping at different places at Asifnagar. Earlier in the day, the in-charge Police Commissioner, Inderjeet Nagia, told mediapersons that any person providing information on the incident would be suitably rewarded. The Cyberabad police have already prepared the sketch of Vinod, the person who had gone to Daniel's house, days before he went missing.
