THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Alappuzha district TB officer K. Venugopal has won the 2004 State award for anti-tobacco activities. The award has been instituted by the Regional Cancer Association. Dr. Venugopal, chest physician at Alappuzha Medical College, has been winning the award for the fourth consecutive year.
