MYSORE: The manager of a private construction company in the city was relieved of his bag containing Rs. 5 lakhs by some youths on Tuesday. The incident took place in Kuvempunagar when Sambha Shivaiah was returning to the office after withdrawing the money from a bank. He was parking his vehicle near the office when two youths said to be in their mid-twenties came on a motorcycle from behind and snatched the bag containing the cash. It is suspected that the youths kept a watch over Mr. Shivaiah while he was at the bank. The Kuvempunagar police have registered a case and are investigating.
