Annual education fair is here again

Job mela to be conducted as part of 3-day exhibition

COIMBATORE: The India International Career and Educational Fair 2005(IICEF 2005), is back in the city for the eighth consecutive year. The three-day fair will begin on Friday (June 10).

Once again it will provide a platform for students and parents to directly gather information about courses and colleges from representatives of higher educational institutions. It will also give an opportunity to clarify doubts and understand new trends in the dynamic field of careers. Organised by Indus Fairs and Events (India) Pvt. Ltd, Coimbatore, the participants include everyone connected with the field of education and careers.

Self-financing institutions, Government aided colleges, engineering colleges, polytechnics, medical institutes, nursing and pharmacy institutes, distance education colleges and universities, business and management schools and software and hardware training institutions will participate. You will also get a chance to meet overseas recruitment agents, representatives of foreign universities, human resource consultants and immigration consultants.

Book publishers, educational aids manufacturers, technical and non-technical training institutions, coaching centres, educational consultants and personality development experts will also be present.

Educational opportunities in Cyprus, Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Canada, Dubai, the Czech Republic, China and Russia would also be showcased giving it an international flavour. On-the-spot admission and counselling will also be provided. Information about 5000 education programmes across the world will be available. A job mela will also be organised. The District Employment Exchange and the Overseas Employment Corporation are jointly taking this initiative. The venue is Coddissia Trade Fair Complex and the timings are 10.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
