Hind Sanitaryware to issue FCDs

CHENNAI: The directors of Hindustan Sanitaryware and Industries Ltd. (HSIL) have approved the issue of fully convertible debentures (FCDs) to HPC (Mauritius) Ltd., a subsidiary of Henderson Asia Pacific Equity Partners I, the pan-Asian private equity fund of Henderson Private Capital. HSIL will issue 33 lakh FCDs to Henderson at Rs. 160.25 per FCD aggregating to Rs.52.88 crore. These will be convertible within 18 months into equity shares on a 1:1 basis, according to a release.
