HYDERABAD: The AP Film Chamber of Commerce (APFCC) booked around 110 cases of video piracy acting on 350 complaints received in the last two months. At a press conference here on Wednesday, film producer Allu Arvind and Executive Producer Nagaraju, both of Geeta Arts, producer `Dil' Raju and head of the Anti-Piracy Cell Keshava Reddy said recently-released Telugu films Bunny, Narasimhudu and Andariwaadu were less affected than others because of the action taken by the cell. The maximum number of cases (26) were booked in Warangal.
Toll-free number
It may be recalled that the APFCC had established the cell with a toll-free number for people to register their complaints and give information on piracy. Complainants can contact 1600-42450111 between 9 am and 9 pm on all days also. Forty four former police officials had been posted at various locations in the State, for immediate action. There are two chapters, one for Hyderabad and the other for Cyberabad.
