GE chief gets USIBC award

CHENNAI: The United States India Business Council (USIBC) has bestowed on General Electric the USIBC 30th anniversary jubilee award for "The U.S. company contributing most to Indo-U.S. commercial relationship". Jeffrey R. Immelt, Chairman and CEO, GE, received the award from Rajat Gupta, Senior Partner - Worldwide, McKinsey & Co., and Chairman of USIBC. Scott R. Bayman, President and CEO, GE India, was also present on the occasion.
