THANJAVUR: Contract employees of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB) observed a fast in front of the office of the superintending engineer of TNEB here demanding regularisation of their jobs. R. Manoharan, district secretary, CITU, inaugurated the fast. K. Venkittu vice-president, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Employees Central Council and D. Govindaraju, zonal secretary of the council, participated. The employees have been on strike in support of the demand for the past ten days.
