Hemant stuns Sahaj, joins Sankalp in lead

NEW DELHI: Hemant Sharma surprised Sahaj Grover to join Sankalp Modwal at five points in the under-17 section after five rounds of the LNJ Bhilwara students' chess tournament at the Botwinnik Chess Academy here.

In the under-10 section, Vaibhav Khanna and Aditya Vikram maintained their all-win record to stay ahead of the field.

Under-10 (fifth round): Vaibhav Khanna (5) bt Abir Sinha (4); Aditya Vikram (5) bt Yogesh Gautam (4); Harshal Sahi (3) lost to Aditya Mittal (4.5); Meharjot S. Kala (4.5) bt Aganjot S.
