Vasco cries foul against East Bengal
MUMBAI: Vasco Sports Club lodged a protest against eight Kingfisher East Bengal players for being overage and sought a medical test after going down 0-11 in the National under-19 Football League semifinal at the Cooperage on Thursday.
The Goan club coach, Jude Barretto, handed over the official protest as the match concluded, naming two goalscorers among the eight players identified.
Ayan Choudhary scored four goals, including a hat-trick, for the Kolkata side.
