MUMBAI: A joint team of experts of General Electric (GE), the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and the Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) on Thursday visited the site of the 2,184-MW Dabhol Power Company (DPC) project at Guhaghar in Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra to find out the condition of the plant lying mothballed for four years. The visit assumed significance in the light of the Power Minister, P. M. Sayeed's statement in Delhi that the negotiations to revive the project are at a final stage.
