BANGALORE: Bangalore University has issued show-cause notices to 34 lecturers in chemistry and physics for their failure to attend valuation duties in April and May. The Registrar of the university (Evaluation), Adoni Syed Saleem, has issued notices to lecturers who had failed to attend valuation duties. The lecturers have violated Section 74 of the Karnataka State Universities Act, 2000, according to the university. The notices were issued based on a report submitted by C.L. Gopala Reddy, Chief Custodian, B.Sc valuation unit to 21 chemistry lecturers and 13 physics lecturers. The university conducted the B.Sc examination in April and May.
