HYDERABAD: The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, has deputed a high-level official team led by the Principal Secretary, Energy, S.V. Prasad, to Cuddapah to study the causes of the accident in which 11 bus passengers were electrocuted on Wednesday. The team left for Cuddapah on Thursday. Dr. Reddy also ordered continuous monitoring of transmission and distribution lines besides periodical supervision of safety measures. A preventive maintenance of all lines had been ordered, a press release from the Chief Minister's Office said. Preliminary enquiry concluded that the fault was more on part of the driver who was warned of the danger by other bus crew passing on the road.
