TDP to focus on Congress lapses

CUDDAPAH: The Telugu Desam Party cadre must extensively tour the Cuddapah Municipal Corporation and enlighten people on the Government's arbitrary decisions, in the run-up for the ensuing municipal elections, the party leaders called on Thursday.

Addressing a Municipal Corporation-level TDP meeting here, the TDP Polit Buro member, K. Sivananda Reddy, district President, R. Ramesh Kumar Reddy, and General Secretary, P. Brahmaiah, stressed the need for exposing the Government's unkept promises before the urban voters.

Assuring constitution of municipal ward-wise committees soon, they wanted the partymen to focus on drinking water paucity and other problems plaguing the people.

The TDP leaders, Brahmaiah, Katta Narayanaiah Naidu and S.V. Satish Kumar Reddy, have been appointed ad hoc party observers for overseeing canvassing and election process in the municipal corporation limits.

The TDP town president, V.S. Ameer Babu, presided. Party Vice-Presidents, B. Hariprasad and B. Harindranath, leaders including M. Venkatasiva Reddy, K. Ramesh Babu and M. Venkataswamy took part.
