Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
The Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, assured a delegation comprising members of the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) that a commission of inquiry would be held into the alleged leakage of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) question paper by a senior IAS officer.
Dr. Reddy told the DYFI delegation led by the DYFI president, S. Narahari, and the secretary, P.V. Srinivas, that the inquiry would be conducted by an officer of the rank of Chief Secretary. He promised that if the enquiry confirmed their allegations, the Government would conduct a re-examination.
In a memorandum submitted to the Chief Minister, the DYFI delegation urged action against officials and non-officials involved and asked for fresh Mains examinations.
