Dishtv goes to Chennai

NEW DELHI:
Dishtv - the country's first direct-to-home (DTH) platform - has begun operations in Chennai, providing another option to the lone metropolis of India to have switched to the Conditional Access System.
This DTH platform from the Essel Group promises 130 channels though the basic package deal on offer is 79 channels, including HBO for Rs. 3,990. In fact, only in Chennai is HBO being made available in the basic package.
