NEW DELHI: The Haj Committee of India on Thursday extended up to June 20 the last date for receipt of applications for registration by Private Tour Operators, an official statement said. Saudi Arabia had last month notified that only registered Private Tour Operators (PTO) involved in Haj Pilgrimage with the Government of India would be eligible for grant of (Group) Haj visas. To meet this requirement, applications for registration were invited by the Ministry of External Affairs from well-established and reputed PTOs involved in Haj pilgrimage. The External Affairs Ministry had earlier fixed June 10 as the last date for submission of applications.- UNI
