NIZAMABAD: The Minister for Rural Development, D. Srinivas, said a Livelihood Resource Centre would be set up at an estimated cost of Rs. 50 lakhs at Ramarthi tank, near Sarangapur, 8 km from here. The proposed centre would serve as a demonstration site on water conservation technologies and also rural livelihoods. The Government had sanctioned the project under the APRLP funds and the District Water Management Agency would maintain it, he said, while taking stock of the drinking water situation with officials at the Municipal office here on Thursday.
