CHENNAI: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation has introduced a luxury bus service on the Chennai-Bangalore-Hindupur route, from Thursday. The luxury Volvo coach with ergonomically designed seats and other passenger comforts, will depart Chennai for Bangalore daily at 6.30 a.m and 11.59 p.m. The travel time will be five and a half-hours. In the return direction, the bus will leave Bangalore for Chennai at 4.30 p.m. and 11.40 p.m. Daytime fare on the Chennai-Bangalore route is Rs. 325, on the Chennai-Hindupur route is Rs. 425 and on the Bangalore-Hindupur route is Rs. 100. Corresponding night-time rates are Rs. 450, Rs. 550 and Rs. 100 respectively. The air-conditioned luxury coach was flagged off from the Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus by A.P.
