Sahara Computers launches range of IT products
CHENNAI:
Sahara Computers and Electronics Limited (SCEL), a joint venture between the South African IT major, Sahara Computers (Pty) Ltd., and Sahara India Pariwar, has launched a wide portfolio of IT products in the Indian market, including desktops PCs starting at Rs. 9,999 and going up to Rs. 50,000. The launch is scheduled in two phases. The first phase would concentrate on the northern region with the exception of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. In the second phase, which will be around July, the products will be available across the country. The SCEL notebooks will be in the range of Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 1.50 lakh, says a release.
