BANGALORE: The Governor, T.N. Chatuvedi, on Thursday directed the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BMP) authorities to ensure that there is proper coordination between the civic body and other civic agencies. He asked the Mayor, R. Narayanaswamy, who met the Governor at the Raj Bhavan, to ensure that the BMP functioned in coordination with Bangalore Electricity Supply Company , the Bangalore Development Authority , the Bangalore Telecom and the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board. "Citizens do not know the limitations of various civic providers. Whatever good you do will be considered as your routine job. But, if anything goes wrong in their area, they hold the BMP responsible for it. "You should be on high alert, especially during rain, and work in coordination," the Governor said.
