Hyderabad student tops ICET

WARANGAL:
Chebrolu Surya Mrinalini of Hyderabad topped the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) by scoring 181 marks in the test conducted by the Kakatiya University, Warangal, on May 29.
The university Vice-Chancellor and ICET-2005 chairman, V. Gopal Reddy, released the results here on Saturday. The ICET convenor, V. Gangadaram and a host of university faculty members and staff were present on the occasion. Of the 80,078 who appeared for the test 71,408 qualified, registering a pass percentage of 89.17.
Women topped the list with 22,450 candidates passing the test, registering a pass percentage of 91.48. Of the first top ten ranks, Hyderabad students bagged the first eight ranks, while the ninth rank went to Guntur and the tenth to Visakhapatnam.
