Mother kills four children

BHILWARA (RAJASTHAN): Four girl children died after their mother pushed them into a well at Bigod in Mandalgarh tehsil of Bhilwara district on Saturday.

Tina (9), Payal (7), Chanda (4) and six-month-old Heena died while villagers managed to save Mangla (30) who attempted suicide.

The woman, who was admitted to a hospital, told police that she took the step because of economic hardship and taunts by her mother-in-law over her not giving birth to a son. — UNI
