VISAKHAPATNAM: Hyderabadis have bagged top ranks in the Law Common Entrance Test (Lawcet) 2005. In the results announced on Sunday, Hyderabadis secured eight top ranks in the test conducted for the three-year law course. For the five-year course, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati bagged two ranks each among the top 10. While a Hyderabadi topped in the three-year course, the top honour in the five-year law entrance test went to a Vizagite. The results were announced here by the Andhra University Vice-Chancellor, L. Venugopal Reddy, and the Lawcet convener, R. Venkata Rao, at a media conference.The results were also placed on www.andhrauniversity.info.

Following is the list of top 10 rankers (3-year course): P.V. Roopkumar, Shanthi Natarajan, Anil Kumar Samineni, T. Nagendar Goud, P. Vamshi Krishna, D. Sudhakara Rao (all Hyderabad), Sunil Tingilikar (Warangal), S. Madhu Babu (Hyderabad), M. Srinivasa Rao (Vizag) and M. Anand Reddy (Hyderabad). The top 10 rankers in the 5-year course are: K. Ashrita Prasad (Vizag), K. Sri Harsha Shashank (Hyderabad), P. Ashwini Kumar (Karimnagar), N. Ravindra (Tirupati), K. Chandramouli (Vizag), Y. Sudhakara Reddy (Vijayawada), K. Nagaraju (Nalagonda), I. Ravi (Guntur), S. Bhaskar (Warangal) and Kota Kiran Keerthi (Tirupati).
