THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two persons were killed in separate accidents on Sunday near Technopark, Kazhakkoottam. Ravindran Pillai (48), a resident of Chanthavila, Muttada, who is employed as a security guard in a firm at Technopark, was run down by a multi-utility vehicle early morning while he was about to cross the road. In another accident, Vijayakumar (35), a resident of Monvila, Kulathoor, was killed when the motorbike he was riding crashed against a multi-utility vehicle in the evening. The bodies of the deceased have been kept at the mortuary of Medical College Hospital.
Injured
A 58-year-old woman was thrown out of the KSRTC bus she was travelling when the bus took a sharp turn at Karakulam on Sunday morning. Janaki, a resident of Vembayam, who was seriously injured, has been admitted to Medical College Hospital.
